Specifically designed to be used with SMOK's Spirals vape tank, the Spirals coils are available in both 0.3 Ohms and 0.6 Ohms resistances, giving great flexibility to users who’re unwilling to settle for anything less than great quality. These 0.3 Ohm coils are built for greater vapour production and much higher power, whereas the 0.6 Ohm coils are designed for lower wattage and greater flavour production, making them a complete and fulfilling experience for a broad range of users.

Video Transcript: SMOK Spirals Tank with 0.6 ohm Coil Review by How It Vapes

Hello, and welcome back to another episode of Vapes. In this episode, it's the SMOK Spirals Tank. The SMOK Spirals Tank is a pretty compact atomizer, as you can actually see. It's 22 millimeters in diameter, and it holds 2 mLs of juice. The Spirals Tanks come with factory coils, but inside the package, you will also find an RBA coil head to make your own coils. The design is pretty simple. At the bottom, you have four tiny airflow holes. They might appear tiny, but the airflow is pretty good. And at the top, we have the top refill cap, which is very easy to remove, very easy to fill, very easy to screw back on, so it's something that is very simple and easy. The coil head that they have inside is the 0.6 ohm coil, and it's rated between 18 and 35 watts. SMOK says, on the coil, that the best wattage is 28 watts. Also, I forgot to mention that the drip tip is standard 510, so you can install your own 510 drip tip on top. So I first puff at 18 watts. We have some vapor production, but no taste at all. 22 watts now.

At 22 watts, we have very good vapor production, and now, we also have taste. Taste is not perfect, but you can definitely vape this at 22 watts. 26 watts now. Vapor production now is even better, and taste gets better while we increase the watts. 28 watts now, like SMOK recommends. Good vapor production and very, very good taste. 32 watts now. Vapor production seems to be the same, and flavor also seems to be the same. Only thing that changed is the temperature of the vapor. Finally, at 35 watts, which is the upper limit of the coil head.

Same vapor production, same taste, but the vapor is even warmer. So my thoughts about the Spirals Tank. First of all, the airflow. Like I said, the airflow holes are very tiny, but that's not a problem at all. You can easily vape this with direct lung hits. Of course, it's not like a TFV8, for example, but it does its job very good. Then we go to the other side, to the top. Like I said, it's very easy to refill and you would have no problem with leaks at all. Finally, the 0.6 ohm coil delivers very good flavor and pretty good vapor production. It's not the best factory coil that I have tested, but it sure does its job very well. Finally, SMOK was right about the 28 watts. 28 watts appears to be the sweet spot for this coil head. Of course, you can vape it lower, but I'd say no lower than 22 watts, and you can go all the way up to 35 watts, if you prefer the vapor to be warm.

Would I recommend the Spirals Tank to a beginner? Definitely yes, because the choice of the coil heads, it's pretty balanced. A beginner can easily vape at 28 watts with no problem at all. And of course, you have the added bonus that it has an RBA coil head, so someone can start experimenting to build his own coils. Vapor and taste-wise, it's pretty balanced, so there will be no problem there at all, and it has no leaks at all. Would I recommend it to an experienced user? Well, if you're in a hurry and you don't have time to build your own coil, then this is a pretty good alternative, but it's a good alternative if you're willing to vape at lower wattages. If your usual vape is higher than 60 watts, no, this will not be very satisfying for you. But I still have to try the RBA coil head, because it could also be very good even for experienced users. In general, I like this tank. I would recommend it a 1000 times over a CUBIS or any similar atomizer. This vapes well, the coil lasts for a pretty good time, and it also comes with the RBA coil head inside the package. Thumbs up for SMOK for creating a very easy-to-use atomizer with a very good choice of ready-made factory coils and an RBA coil head. Remember, keep on vaping, and I'll see you on the next one.
