Aspire Atlantis EVO Coils are designed for use with Aspire EVO Vape Tank. These sub ohm coils are available in both 0.4 Ohms and 0.5 Ohms, delivering enhanced taste and airflow. The 0.4Ω coils have bigger airflow for enhanced vapour production and balanced flavour, performing best between 40 - 50W, whereas 0.5Ω tend to do best between 35 - 40W and produce a more dense vapour. Originally intended to be used with the Aspire Evo Tank, these are compatible with a range of Aspire vape tanks, including the Aspire Atlantis, Aspire Atlantis 2, Aspire Triton and Aspire Triton 2.

Video Transcript: Aspire Atlantis EVO 0.5 ohm Coil Head Review by How It Vapes

Hello, and welcome back to another episode of How it vapes. In this episode, it's the Aspire Atlantis EVO with a 0.5 ohm coil head. This coil head is rated between 35 and 40 watts, and I'm vaping this with 100% VG juice. First, I'll take a puff at 35 watts. As you can see, vapour production is pretty good, and taste is very, very, very good. Now, at 40 watts. Vapour production is still very good, and taste is even better now. Finally, I'll do a puff at 45 watts, which is outside the recommended range, but I think that this coil can handle a few watts higher. And yes, it can, with excellent vapour production and excellent taste.

So my thoughts about the 0.5 ohm coil: First of all, this coil has pretty decent vapour production, and the taste is very, very good. It can easily handle 100% VG juice, so there is no problem vaping with very thick juices. And compared to the 0.4 ohm coil for the Atlantis EVO, this one, at least for me, vapes a lot better. Vapour production with the 0.4 is a bit higher, but taste with the 0.5 is a lot, a lot better. Mind, though, that the 0.5 is a bit more restricted than the 0.4 is. Last, but not least, like the 0.4 ohm coil, you can use this coil head in many, many other atomisers. I don't have anything bad to say about this coil, because it does not leak, it does not gurgle, and in general, it performs like it has to.

So would I recommend this coil to a beginner? Definitely yes, because the vapour production is not huge and they will not choke and die, and because the taste is very, very good, and it will keep them into vaping. Would I recommend it to an experienced user? Probably yes, because this is a good alternative if you don't have the time to build your own coils. It vapes good, and it has good taste. And I'm saying probably yes because some experienced users want to have a lot more vapour production. With this coil, you are not going to get a huge vapour production, and that's why I'm saying probably. So the Aspire EVO 0.5 ohm coil is a thumbs-up coil for me, and I'm sure I will find myself vaping with this again. Remember, keep on vaping, and I'll see you on the next one.
