Hey guys, Kristin here at Bean Town. I just wanted to talk to you today about the Alien mod. We have the Alien Kit, it comes with the baby beast tank and the great mod. It's a very durable mod and it has a lot of cool settings. So I just wanted to go over some of the settings with you guys. I have my Cleito 120 tank on it right now because I love this tank and I can switch to the Baby Beast anytime too. So I wanted to just talk about the best way to switch between tanks because some people are confused about when you click the mod, once you put a new tank on, it says new coil, yes or no, and whenever you switch a tank, you always wanna hit yes, because the mod is so smart that it reads the actual ohms and then it adjusts the settings accordingly. So, it's on right now. I vape my Cleito 120 around 90 watts. I usually do 93.4 because that was my phone number in Duxbury, 934 and I won't give you the rest.
So, say I wanna switch this tank. So, I have to make sure that the screen is lit up while I'm putting the new tank on. So it says no coil there. So, the screen's lit up, I'm screwing on a new tank and then I'm gonna hit it, it's gonna say new coil, yes or no. I wanna press yes. Because then it's gonna read the specifications of that coil so that the mod can perform properly. So, I think that's a great option for the Alien mod, it's really cool.
So the other really cool thing is that you can change the strength of how hard your mod's gonna hit, but leaving it at the same wattage. So you can see it's at 90.1, you can see up here, the watts setting, and then above that, it actually says H right now. So I'm gonna go in to the menu of the strength.
So I wanna hold down the up button and the fire button, and then it goes into this menu and you can change the strength. So... It's hard to see on here, but soft, normal, hard, soft, normal... You have to do it quick, soft, normal, hard. I like it on hard so I'm gonna leave it there and just wait. So yeah, it'll say which one up there. So, sometimes if I feel like my coil's on its last leg, I'll go in there and put it on soft, so it won't work the coil so much, so I can save it a little bit longer until I can get a new coil in there.
So the other cool thing is, you go into the main menu. So you click the fire button three times in a row. Five times in a row is on and off. And every time your Alien mod turns off, and then you turn it back on, you actually... You can say if it's a new the new coil or not. And if I have the same tank on there, I just press no. So yeah, let's go into the menu. So, one, two, three. And you'll see mode. I'm not gonna touch anything, I'm gonna let it sit until it glows. So mode is watt. If I want it on temp control, do that, or memory mode. But I want it on watts so I'm just gonna let it sit and wait for it to change strength. I have on hard, I like it that way. So that's another way to get into the strength menu.
So that is the mode menu. If I wanted to go to a different menu, one, two, three, click two puffs. Just gonna let is sit. It's gonna say, set maximum puffs, I don't ever wanna do that 'cause I don't wanna measure that, and then reset puffs. If I'm putting a new coil in, I like to reset the puffs so I can watch how many puffs I'm getting per coil, so it's like a cool way to measure how long your coils are lasting. So I think that's a really cool attribute of the Alien mod. But I don't need to reset my puffs right now because I don't have a new coil in. So that's how you would get into the puff menu.
Now we're gonna explore the settings menu. So, one, two, three, mode, puffs, click to settings. So I'm gonna let it sit here, until it shows the first part of the settings menu. This is screen time, so you can adjust the time on the screen. Stealth, on and off, I have mine off 'cause I hate stealth mode, and then screen timeout. Screen timeout, so after 60 seconds, the screen will not be activated. So, that's pretty cool. Great.
So the part where it says screen time, you can actually go into that menu too. This is just the main settings menu, but to actually get to the menu within the settings menu, okay, go to settings, then you'll see screen time and then click this button to go through the settings within the settings menu. So you start with screen time, screen lock, contrast, which is cool, so I'm gonna let it sit there 'cause I'm gonna explore the contrast. So I have my screen contrast at 100. Let's say I wanna move it down, see how it's getting not as bright. So we're gonna let that register and then see what it looks like. So, it doesn't really look that different, but if you wanted to play with the contrast of your screen, that's how you'd do it. The other thing is, I wanted to remind people that when you're changing tanks, you have to have the screen lit up. So, I'm just gonna show you what happens if you don't have the screen lit up. So I'm gonna wait for the screen to timeout, and then I'm gonna take this Alien baby beast off and put my Cleito 120 on.
Okay. We're good. So the mod is... The last tank it read was this baby beast, so it's thinking inside that the baby beast is till on there, but it's not. So, we're gonna put the Cleito 120 on, but as you can see, my screen is not registering. So, this Alien thinks it's the baby beast, but it's actually the Cleito 120, so when I go to fire it, it says, Don't abuse screen protects. And people are like, What the hell does that mean? So, what it means is that it's like, What the hell's going on with this baby beast? You don't feel the same anymore. But it... So, when that happens, I have to take it off, make sure the screen's lit up, and put the Cleito 120 on, and then I'm gonna hit the fire button, and it's gonna say, New coil. Yes, it's a new coil 'cause it's a different coil. So, that's what don't abuse screen protects means, is that it's like, What the hell's going on? You just switched up on me. It's like any relationship. Anyway.
The other setting on the menu, one, two, three. I'm gonna click the fire button to the last setting, it's power. So, this is another way to shut your mod off. So, power's on, just in case we needed to check that. But I would rather just quick the button five times rather than waiting for the power menu to pop up, but that's what power means. So, that's pretty much the Alien menu in a nutshell. The only little thing I don't like about it is that you have to wait. You click in, and then you have to wait for it to change. You can't just click through with the fire button, but it's good. It's a really good mod. It's been really popular here, it's been flying off the shelves. We have a bunch of different colors. We just got in the Superman edition, so it's red, white, and blue. And the baby beast tank on it is like a nice navy, shiny pearly blue, so it's really cool.
We also have baby beast tanks separate, sold separately here, so you can... If you love this tank, which a lot of people do, you can switch out. And we actually have a rainbow, it looks like oil on top of water. It's that really pretty rainbow color. So, come in and check it out. Yeah, that's the new hotness right now. So, just wanted to check in and make sure everyone knew about all the settings that they can take advantage of on this mod. Until next time, have a great day.
