How's it going guys? Dave here from DashVapes again, and welcome back to another two-minute Tuesday.
Alright, so today, we're gonna be talking about mouth-to-lung versus direct-to-lung inhales and which one suits you best. And as the show goes, we're gonna do that in two minutes or less. Timer's gonna be right here. Let's get to it. So there are a couple different ways to use your vape, and it comes down to personal preference and the kind of tank that you're using. Now, mouth-to-lung would be most similar to that of the inhale on a cigarette where you'd inhale into the mouth first, and then inhale into the lungs. Now, generally, mouth-to-lung devices won't get you as much vapor as direct-to-lung devices. That being said, it's the most familiar to a cigarette. So generally, when people first start out vaping they'll usually start with a mouth-to-lung device. Another thing to mention is because you aren't getting as much vapor with a mouth-to-lung device, you usually need to step up your nicotine a little bit.
Now, for example, I usually vape three milligrams in all my sub-ohm devices, but right now I'm vaping a Nautilus 2 with 18 milligrams of nicotine just to get a really solid throat hit. Now the trade-off about it is because you have more nicotine and there is less vapor, you don't go through juice nearly as much as you would with, say, a sub-tank, or a TFV8. And I would say, if I'm ever going out anywhere, for example, if I'm walking out on the street or going out to a bar, something like that, I would usually always bring a mouth-to-lung device with me because mouth-to-lung devices generally are a lot more discreet than a sub-ohm set up. Now personally, I don't wanna be chucking clouds in the street and you know, blowing clouds in someone's face by accident, so usually I'll bring a mouth-to-lung with me, inhale on it, and then I will just let out similar vapor amounts that you would get from a cigarette.
Now, next up is direct-to-lung vaping. Now, direct-to-lung is where you see those giant clouds that you get from, again, the TFV8, TFV12, just big plumes of vapor. And the reason why you get more vapor from a direct-to-lung hit is because you are inhaling directly into your lungs. You're able to take in much more air that way. And with direct-to-lung devices, you usually get a lot more flavor, as well, because, again, there is more vapor. And another reason why you'd wanna get into direct-to-lung vaping is if you're ever interested in doing tricks of any sort. Again, because you have so much more vapor, you have a lot more to play around with and do different tricks and what not. I would say I use my sub-ohm devices and my mouth-to-lung devices about 50-50 from one another.
If I am looking for a big rush of nicotine, I usually use my mouth-to-lung devices because the nicotine is so much higher in it. Also if I'm having a stressful day or anything like that, I like using a mouth-to-lung device because it really does mimic a cigarette in that sense. And that about wraps up this week's episode of two-minute Tuesdays. I'd love to know what kind of vaping style you're using, whether it's direct-to-lung or mouth-to-lung.
